I'm on the _weightwatchers community with you, and I was wondering if you'd like to be buddies. Since we're pretty close in stats now... I'm 193.5, and we have similar goals, we'd make a good team. Plus, we share a love for elephants!
i was gonna ask you to be buddies myself the other day =D! a fellow elephant lover...i'd friend you in a heartbeat =D!!!
you have my support for ww - and you're right, we'd absolutely make a good team given the stats and the goals...
welcome to my journal and my ww journey - it's at least another 55lbs long (plus mainenance, of course)...
how did your love for elephants start?
Thanks for adding me as a buddy! My love for elephants started last year when my boyfriend bought me my first elephant at the Sea World store at the Orlando Airport. We were in a long distance relationship at the time, so she got me through a lot of lonely nights. Her name is Ella :) I only have 2 other elephants, but my collection will grow! How did your love of elephants start?
six different people have - independently from each other - given me little elephant figurines to bring me luck back in the early '96 when i was in my senior year of high school in germany facing the final exams (das Abitur)...so my Mom saw that and bought another one to make seven (a lucky number) just before my final oral exam, where i was to sit in front of a committee and answer questions...and this was an exam in religion...despite that i brought in all of my elephants and set them up on my desk before the exam (even though it is frowned upon such displays of good luck as far as the catholic church is concerned) and when the head of the committe asked what those figurines represented and i said that a lot of good thoughts of good people are with me here today and they wanted me to remember that by giving me the elephant figurines and wish me luck, the head of the committee got up and said "well, nothing can go wrong today for you then, i have my elephant tie on!!" and he waved the tie at me...i aced that exam and it was only too logical to continue the trend people started for me...now i have hundreds of them...
